Metz Family

We just finalized some new destinations for the second half of the year. It's obvious that we start to discover the close by area around our new home base in addition to some family visits. On the agenda so far are the cities of Hannover, Lübeck and Kiel along with the a short break at the Baltic sea, the island of Fehmarn. To round up the next couple of weeks, we will visit Sebastian's home town, Dingelstädt for the first time together with the little lad.  Wir haben gerade einige neue Stationen für unseren Tourplan im zweiten Halbjahr hinzugefügt. Es ist offensichtlich, dass wir uns erstmal die nähere Umgebung vornehmen, hinzu kommen noch einige Familienbesuche. Auf der Liste stehen im Moment die Städte Hannover, Lübeck und Kiel. Dazu kommt ein Abstecher an die Ostsee, auf die Insel Fehmarn. Um die nächsten Wochen abzuschliessen wollen wir Sebastian's Heimatstadt, Dingelstädt zum ersten Mal zusammen mit unserem kleinen Mann besuchen. 

It's been only a year since Samuel Ciarán was born but so much happened and it feels if he would be around for ages. We celebrated his first birthday with a party on last Saturday. Below you can see him when he was born and a recent photo. Isn't it amazing how rapid babies grow and develop? Es ist nur ein Jahr seit unser kleiner Samuel Ciarán geboren wurde, aber es ist soviel in diesem Jahr passiert und es fühlt sich an als wäre er schon ewig bei uns. Am vergangenen Samstag haben wir jedenfalls seinen ersten Geburtstag mit einer kleinen Party gefeiert.
