It's been a week since we got back from the sunny and beautiful Prague. We visited our dear friend Stefan, who relocated from Dublin to Prague last year. We flew with Aerlingus late on friday afternoon and had a bit of a scare when our plane flew into turbulante weather just before landing leading to a few screams from some passengers. But thank God we landed safe and sound. Stefan met us at the airport and escorted us to our hotel, which was located just 5mins. walk from his house. Saturday was a brilliant day with long spells of sunshine. We did a pedal boat tour on the Moldau river, then headed to the famous Charles bridge, then toured the massive, picturesque castle on the hill. We spent the rest of the day at the Czech beer festival which reminded us of the German october festival. Sunday was even hotter, so we went to chill at a Park then had the obligatory, delicious Goulasch dish. We visited the old town before heading back to the airport, flying right into Caroline's

On February 14, 1859 Dingelstädt got officially certified as "town". In this regard, the town is celebrating its 150th anniversary with special events and plenty of attractions. Just to name one highlight, there will be an open air concert called "The Best Of Rock And Classic" on Saturday, August 8, 2009 performed by East German rock legend Vital and the "Thüringen Philharmonie". Concert goers can expect an exclusive melange of rock evergreens in combination with classical instrumentation. After the concert, fireworks over the town area will finish up this day. More information can be found here . As Dingelstädt is the home town of Sebatian, we will be definitely there. Maybe you too? Am 14. Februar 1859 erhielt Dingelstädt offiziell das Stadtrecht. Vor diesem Hintergrund feiert die Stadt ihren 150. Geburtstag mit vielen Veranstaltungen und jeder Menge Attraktionen. Um nur ein Highlight zu nennen. Am Samstag, den 8. We are just back from a very nice trip to hot and sunny Prague. We had a wonderful weekend in the Czech Republic. As usual, a short report and photos to follow soon. Wir sind gerade von einer sehr schönen Reise aus dem heissen und sonnigen Prag zurückgekehrt. Wir hatten ein wunderbares Wochenende in der Tschechischen Republik. Wie immer folgen schon bald ein kleiner Bericht und Fotos.

We will travel to sunny Czech capital Prague this weekend. Wir werden dieses Wochenende in die sonnige, tschechische Hauptstadt Prag fliegen.

We have just added two new destinations as part of our "2009 Tour". We will celebrate Sebastian's 30th birthday in Scotland's Edinburgh. Two days later in the same week we will explore Ireland's southcoast when we visit Waterford. Wir haben gerade zwei neue Tourdaten als Teil unserer "2009 Tour" hinzugefügt. Wir werden Sebastian's 30.
