Our Shamrock Easter Trip

As per our Easter tradition, we toured Ireland again this year. On Saturday, we headed off to Killiney, one of Dublin's most exclusive residential areas, where famous names like Bono, The Edge, Pat Kenny, Enya and Van Morrison reside. The photos of the area speak for themselves.

On Sunday, we traveled out of Dublin to visit the southern Irish counties, starting with Wexford, where we had breakfast and walked around the harbor, before heading further to Waterford. We were surprised at how much the city center of Waterford looked so similar to a small German town.On our way back, we decided to stop at Kilkenny, where we were amazed at the Castle right in the middle of the town. We had a fabulous dinner in a restaurant and Sebastian didn't miss to order a Kilkenny...

Gemäß unserer Ostertradition sind wir auch dieses Jahr in Irland herumgereist. Am Samstag sind wir zunächst nach Killiney gefahren, eins der exklusivsten Wohngebiete Dublins, das mit prominenten Namen wie z.B. Bono, The Edge, Pat Kenny, Enya sowie Van Morrison assoziiert wird. Die Fotos dazu sprechen für sich.

Am Sonntag sind wir früh Richtung Südost Irland gefahren. Unser erster Stopp war Wexford, eine kleine verschlafene Hafenstadt. Nach einem leichten Frühstück sind wir weiter nach Waterford gefahren, das uns irgendwie an eine kleine deutsche Stadt errinerte. Unser letzter Halt war dann Kilkenny, dessen Burg mitten im Stadtzentrum nicht zu übersehen ist. Vor der Rückfahrt haben wir in einem Restaurant gegessen, wo Sebastian natürlich ein Kilkenny bestellt hat...

Sign Of Life...

Well, well, to be honest, we're extremely lazy in terms of posting stuff. Actually it's due to lack of time. We had such a great time in Kenya and if you follow us at Twitter you know what we're talking about...next up...hopefully a nice summer.  Ja, ja, um ehrlich zu sein, sind wir wirklich sehr faul wenn es darum geht hier etwas zu posten. Aber das hat auch zeitliche Gründe, es fehlt einfach an Zeit. Wir hatten so eine schöne Zeit in Kenia und falls Ihr uns bei Twitter begleitet, wisst Ihr, von was wir sprechen. Als nächstes kommt hoffentlich ein schöner Sommer.
