"Inspirations - Gig of the Year for Barretstown". Charity organization Barretstown presents an event filled with fantastic live acts which will perform songs from David Bowie, Bob Dylan, The Rolling Stones, Led Zeppelin and others in their own, unique style. On stage: Irish singer/songwriter icon Sinéad O'Connor, further The Dublin Gospel Choir, Engine Alley, Irish shooting stars Republic of Loose, The Walls, Shane MacGowan, New York-based Alternative rock band Fun Lovin' Criminals, The Kinetics and more. All on one night, Friday February 27, 2009 at Dublin's newest live venue "The Academy" and all proceeds from ticket sales are being donated to Barretstown. We are back in Dublin after a very cold but also very beautiful St. Valentine's weekend in Hungary's capital Budapest. We can highly recommend a city break in Budapest. Caroline and Sebastian will head to Hungary's capital Budapest for this upcoming St. Valentine's weekend. We will reside in one of Budapest's most famous hotels, the " Hotel Gellert " which offers also the popular "Gellert Bath". Caroline und Sebastian werden am kommenden Valentins-Wochenende in Richtung Ungarn's Hauptstadt Budapest aufbrechen. Residieren werden wir in einem der berühmtesten Hotels Budapests - im " Hotel Gellert ". Dieses Hotel bietet ausserdem noch das populäre "Gellert Bad".

Roots Reggae live in Dublin with The Wailers . The Wailers Band was the backing band for Bob Marley & The Wailers from 1974 until Bob Marley's death in 1981. Bob Marley originally started singing with The Wailers, together with among others Bunny Wailer and Peter Tosh. Following the demise of The Wailers, Bob Marley proceeded with his group Bob Marley & The Wailers, with the Wailers Band as the backing band, and the I Threes as backup vocalists. The Wailers Band consisted of among others bassist Aston "Family Man" Barrett and his brother, drummer Carlton (Carlie) Barrett, who had been members of Lee "Scratch" Perry's studio band, The Upsetters, with whom The Wailers had recorded some of their most notable songs. After the death of Bob Marley in 1981, the Wailers Band was led by Junior Marvin and Aston Barrett. Today the band continues to play live in concert.
